This rescheduled edition of the NHL 13: American Hockey League Simulation takes us to Providence, Rhode Island. Tonight at 7:05pm EST, the Portland Pirates and the Providence Bruins will meet after Friday’s game was postponed due to a snow storm on the East Coast.
Any time these two Atlantic division foes come to play, you know you’re in for a real treat and this game was no different. The Bruins came out in full force with two goals from Colby Cohen and Maxime Sauve. Although Portland's Darian Dziurzynski answered with a goal of his own near the end of the 2nd period, Bobby Robins would restore the two goal lead a minute later. Chris Brown would keep the Pirates in the game by cutting the margin down to a single goal but that's where the scoring would end for both sides.
This game featured a Bruins sweep in the Three Stars category, with top honors going to Bobby Robins for his game-winning goal.
