EA Joins Apple and (RED) in the Fight Against AIDS

EA Mobile is proud to stand with (RED)™ and Apple® to drive awareness and donations in the fight against AIDS with the launch of Apps for (RED)™.

From November 24 through December 7, 2014, two of EA’s most popular mobile games— FIFA 15 Ultimate Team and The Sims™ FreePlay — will feature special (RED)-themed in-game items and quests. 100% of the proceeds from these in-game events will go (RED)’s fight against AIDS.

In The Sims FreePlay, players can take part in a brand-new (PRODUCT)RED-themed quest called “The (RED) Flowers of Sim Town.” Players will rouse the community and inspire the townfolk of Sim Town by nurturing special flowers that need tender loving care to bloom. Each flower that blooms helps the community get one step closer to (PRODUCT)RED rewards – including an All Hands Monument for Sim Town, and limited edition exclusive (PRODUCT)RED décor, clothing, and items.

FIFA 15 Ultimate Team lets players take to the pitch and stand with (RED), with a branded Special Tournament, Team of the Week event, and FIFA Points Pack. You’ll also have the chance to win football superstar and (RED) Ambassador Rafa Marquez. From limited time items and special red player kits, FIFA 15 Ultimate Team makes it fun and easy to get involved with (PRODUCT)RED.

Whether you play for free or donate through sponsored in-game purchases, we’re asking our player community around the world to get involved and make an impact! Please join us in the fight against AIDS by participating in the Apps for (RED) campaign through FIFA 15 Ultimate Team and The Sims FreePlay.
