Where to Eat and Shop in Orlando

While Orlando may not be known for fashion like its neighbors to the south from Miami, there are still a number of great places to shop throughout the city.

The largest in size is undoubtedly The Florida Mall, which spans more than 1.8 million square feet and contains more than 250 stores and restaurants.  There are even on-site hotel and conference center accommodations, making the mall a must-stop for families and professionals alike.

Orlando’s world-famous Walt Disney World Resort boasts an entertainment district of its own in Downtown Disney. Located in the heart of the Walt Disney World Resort, Downtown Disney offers fun for all ages, whether it’s shopping, dining or entertainment. [link to entertainment page that explains Disney more]

Folks looking for an outdoors activity on a Sunday can check out the Orlando Farmers Market, set on the backdrop of nearby Lake Eola near downtown Orlando. The market is open from 10 AM to 4 PM every Sunday, and includes seasonal produce, live music, and even a beer and wine garden.

Speaking of beer, Orlando is slowly but surely becoming a player in the microbrew world as well. Orlando Brewing is among the most notable. Located just 10 miles south of the EA SPORTS Tiburon studios, the brewery offers free tours from Monday through Saturday.
